Engagement with key Stakeholders:
• High level of ongoing communication and liaison throughout the project with all involved.
• Early engagement with nearby businesses, neighbours and youth groups to understand stakeholder need and implement safeguards.
• Regular ‘Meet the Builder’ events and resident 1-1s to allay any worries about the construction works.
• Close consultation with Transport for London ensuring all bus stops nearby were kept operational.
• Regular newsletter drops on upcoming contruction work and distruptions.
• Considered approach to site setup, traffic management, road closures and diversions to facilitate the works while minimising inconvenience to current residents.
• Strategic suspension and relocation of parking bays throughout construction.
• Deliveries planned on a peak arrival/departure time to avoid busy traffic periods.
• Facilitated waste disposal and recycling for any nearby local residents affected.
