Our Internal & External Building Works framework is designed to support public sector organisations – including housing, health care and education providers. It connects you to a range of experienced contractors able to support with your planned capital works programmes and upgrades. It’s designed to accommodate single or multi-site projects. And, it’s divided into four Lots broken down by contract value. Contractors on the framework are able to deliver a range of internal and external works – including major refurbishments, external envelope works, roofing, kitchens & bathrooms, windows & doors, and cyclical decorations.
This framework is designed to support both single and multi-site projects within the public sector – including housing, health care and education providers. The framework duration is initially for two years with an option to extend until October 2025.
* Lot 1 – Annual Value up to £749,999
* Lot 2 – Annual Value up to £750,000 – £1,999,999
This new build framework provides a compliant route to appoint contractors all experienced in delivering projects for the housing sector. The value bands are designed to suit all project requirements – from smaller sites to projects over £10m.
New Build works include and are not limited to the design and construction of specified dwellings, with the expectation of using traditional timber/steel framed construction, having brick/block walling and tiled roofing or
To include all associated drainage, road works, car parking, footpaths and paved areas, landscaping, retaining walls, refuse stores, external services and estate lighting. Plus all necessary off site works. Works may include demolition, site clearance, and site preparation or clearance as applicable, including decontamination and remediation works as applicable.

Building on the success of Pretium and Hyde’s first-generation fire safety services framework, it is designed to offer a solution to each element of work under the Building Safety Act.
Those involved in the design, construction and refurbishment of buildings will have more formal responsibilities for ensuring compliance with building regulations, under the Act, which gives greater powers to prosecute for instances of non-compliance. It also requires accurate and up-to-date digital records to be kept on the design, construction and maintenance of buildings.
The PCR 2015-compliant, four-year framework is split into 11 workstreams, delivered by main contractors and specialists, and nine of these are further broken down into regional Lots.

Peabody
Peabody Trust has a significant Fire Remediation programme following government guidance and implementing fire safety assessments using Pas9980, FRAPT and FRAEW has resulted in circa 200 blocks/cores (which required a FRA). In practical terms this translates to circa 75 schemes with multiple cores and in some cases with varying heights, which require some form of remediation. Each remediation project is different and can range from £250k up to £15m and vary greatly in the required works, from a complete linear external rebuilt, to isolated remediations, such as replacement of decking.

Network Homes established a Framework Agreement for external cladding and remediation works.
The main areas of work will generally apply to external wall systems but may also include internal fire compartmentation including fire doors, AOV, sprinkler and alarm systems and other associated cyclical maintenance/decoration works that it may be cost effective to include in the individual works contracts.

Category 1 – Design & build of housing and non-housing developments with a value up to £1.5m, including developments of multiple phases, each up to £1.5m.
Category 2 – Design and build of housing and non-housing developments with a value from £1.5m to £4.5m, including developments of multiple phases, each up to £4.5m.
Category 3 – Design and build of housing and non-housing developments with a value of over £4.5m.
Category 4 – Major refurbishment projects.
