Guildmore development of the Grade II listed Poplar Baths Leisure Centre and Gym a £40m PFI contract to design, build, finance, maintain and operate for 35 years. Guildmore managed design, approval and installation of all specialist packages including pool plant, backwash and chlorination systems, air handling, BMS, cubicles & lockers, CCTV & security, turnstiles.
Guildmore achieved BREEAM Very Good design including measures such as internal recycling of pool backwash for toilet flushing. Following completion, the Planned Maintenance Division, undertake the aftercare service of the facility. We undertake monthly inspections and repairs and remedial works. Our most recent repairs have been for vandalism to an external dry rider outlet, emergency lighting fault, vandalism to a smoke control box.

CHALLENGES
Due to the extent of facilities at Poplar Baths Leisure Centre and Gym, we have a dedicated Aftercare Manager who is dedicated to always ensuring the aftercare of the facility. He coordinates our team and specialist subcontractors who undertake the repairs and remedial works to ensure the facility is well maintained. We are currently achieving 100% repairs on time.
