Meet the Contractor

On Wednesday, 12 February 2020, we arranged a ‘Meet the Contractor’ presentation at Rutley Close, to give the local residents a chance to see the plans,ask questions and meet the Guildmore team, who will be on hand throughout the project to offer information and support.

We’re pleased to have received planning consent granted for the redevelopment of 39-44 Rutley Close, London. We’re setting out to create 25 new homes – 4 x 1 bed, 16 x 2 bed, 5 x 3 be, all for social rent. The outdoor space will feature a new landscaped courtyard and communal seating area, as well as a children’s play area.”

The event was well attended with Phyllis Mensah-Twumasi – Projects Manager from Southwark Council, Susanna Osa – Resident Services Officer from Southwark Council, Jonathan Watkins – Employers agent from calfordseaden and Councillor James Caldwell from Southwark Council.

Guildmore are only the contractor working on behalf of London Borough of Southwark. Members of the Guildmore Team present were: Mark Varley – Head of Operations, Nikki Hamilton – Resident Liaison Officer, Ali Toosi – Contracts Manager, Andy Brown – HSRQ Manager and Wendy Allen- Communications.

‘We’re looking forward to bringing new life to the estate’ said Mark Varley. The exploratory works are about to start now.
