Guildmore is delighted to have been  selected as the contractor for the strip off and replacement of combustible cladding to this apartment block in North London.

This project is the first London project to be awarded and receive funding under the Government’s Private Sector ACM Cladding Remediation Fund (PSCRF); a £200million fund set up following the Grenfell Tower tragedy and available for privately owned, high-rise buildings (over 18 metres) covered in dangerous aluminium composite cladding (“ACM cladding”).

Working with delivery partners including the Greater London Authority who administer funds for London projects, we are pleased to report that works commenced in May following Government guidelines for safe working due to the coronavirus pandemic. With a 30-week programme now underway, works are due to complete in December.

Guildmore’s Head of Cladding and Facades division Keith Laing said “it is good to see that there is such commitment to these vital works despite the global coronavirus crisis. The support we have received from delivery partners during the whole process has ensured that works were able to start as soon as possible and Guildmore look forward to completing the remediation in December”.
