Overview
Guildmore was employed by our client, Mount Green, to do reinstatement works to a flat and communal area following a fire withing the building. This included Fire Door Replacement and Fire Risk Assessment related works, electrical works, installation of Tunstall Entry and Alarm systems, Fire Systems design and fitting. Our team began this project with investigation works, our aim was to complete the project on time, have good client liaison and have synchronised working with contractors. we faced were delays to materials, tight schedule, dealing with residents trying to visit site, unauthorised access, vehicular movement, contractors coordination and package delimitation. We have learned from this project to ensure our subcontractors look into lead times for materials before the start of project, extend schedules if not doable allowing sufficient time for a relaxed job completion. Engage in better communication with residents and client re site visits and vehicular movement, run pre-start meetings with all contractors and discuss packages well in advance.
