After many months of raising money through cake sales, our Summer Ball and many more enterprising office events, the staff at Guildmore, were delighted to raise £1,330,000 for The Lighthouse Club, construction charity.

Engin Ertosun, MD of Guildmore was proud to present the cheque to Bill Scott, chairman of The Lighthouse Club on Friday 6th November.

An amazing charity, The Lighthouse Club is the construction industry charity, run by volunteers connected with the construction, civil engineering, plant and allied industries. Already this year, they have already 24000 to start a new phone helpline. The Lighthouse Club provides financial help to relieve hardship and poverty, due to ill health, accident or death of those in the construction industry. The Lighthouse Club works tirelessly to:

• Provide financial assistance, welfare and wellbeing advice and emotional and legal support to the Construction Community to relieve hardship and stress Promote initiatives aimed at avoiding accidents and improving safety on construction sites
• Support educational initiatives aimed at improving employment conditions and career opportunities within the construction industry.
• Support and deliver local and national events that embrace networking, fundraising and fellowship within the construction industry
