A joint win for the retrofit partnership at this year’s Retrofit Academy Awards
On Tuesday 12 May at ExCeL London, Guildmore Group and Abri Group were named winners of the Retrofit Partnership of the Year at the Retrofit Academy Awards 2026.
The Retrofit Academy Awards is the UK’s foremost retrofit award, recognising the individuals, teams and partnerships driving the delivery of high-quality retrofit across the UK’s housing sector.
Abri Group is one of the largest housing providers in the South of England, managing over 50,000 homes across the region. It is the close working relationship that has developed between Abri and Guildmore that this award recognises.
What began as a Wave 2.1 Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund programme across the Southampton region has grown into an enduring partnership now extending through to 2028, covering over 1,000 homes across the South of England. Energy improvements have been delivered across every home in the programme, with resident outcomes driving every decision. Dedicated liaison, early engagement and innovative delivery methods have resulted in 98% satisfaction and defined the partnership’s approach from day one.
Planned Works Business Unit Director Dan Williamson said:
“Winning this award is a reflection of what our teams put into this programme every day. The planning, the care, and the commitment to getting it right for residents. We’re grateful to the Retrofit Academy for this recognition, and to Abri Group for the trust they’ve placed in us as a partner.”
This award makes a major milestone for Guildmore’s retrofit delivery pillar, which continues to grow and expand, delivering dependable, scalable retrofit solutions for partners across the country.
