Connaught Hall – Phase 2

Full strip out and refurbishment works at a Grade II listed hall of residence.

The Project

Guildmore returned to Connaught Hall in 2026 following a successful project delivered for the University of London in 2025, this time completing strip out and refurbishment works across three floors of the Grade II listed student accommodation building at Tavistock Square.

The scope covered 128 student bedrooms across the ground, first and second floors, including full strip out, new flooring, decorations, Dextra lighting and wall repairs, all delivered within a live student accommodation environment over nine weeks.

With a fixed deadline ahead of the September university term and both staff and students on site throughout, close collaboration with the UoL Estates team was essential to keeping the programme on time and minimising disruption across the building.
